tetr 1.8.0 has been released
This is a pretty big update with a bunch of user experience improvements and a couple new features! It is being rolled out in stages, if you’d like to get it right away, just update tetr from the App Store!
Better iPad support and Mac availability
- tetr now works better on iPad, with a more responsive design and better support for multitasking.
- The universal app is now available on Mac, so you can use tetr on your Mac as well! Get it on App Store!
Note that the Mac version is largely the same as the iPad version and lacks many quality of life features. We will be working on both improving this experience by introducing features such as keyboard shortcuts as well as creating a proper Mac app in the future.
Less cluttered Spaces
- Messages with reminders will no longer get replies about being scheduled, instead they’ll have a clock next to their timestamp.
- Don’t worry, as long as you see the clock, the reminder is scheduled!
Quick skip and reschedule in chats & summaries
- You can click on the timestamp with the clock for easy rescheduling
- You will also now see updated
Snooze
andSkip
buttons in tasks when they’re overdue. - In Summary view, swipe on any task to Snooze, Delete, or Skip it!
Known Issues
There are a some known issues in this update which will be fixed in the upcoming release.
- The context menu may show up under the keyboard when the keyboard is active.
- When opening a chat notification while using a different chat, there may be some flickering.
