Changelog

There’s still a lot planned for the future of tetr!

Here’s a list of the changes we’ve made so far:

tetr 1.9.2: Bug fixes for routines and calendar

tetr 1.9.2 is a minor release that fixes a couple of bugs and improves the app’s performance.

  • Fixed issues when editing a task which is synced with your device’s calendar.
  • Fixed many bugs with regards to routines. Having notification-related issues? Go to Settings > About > Diagnostics to reconfigure them or get in touch with support!

We’re going to focus on sync going forward, stay tuned!

tetr 1.9.1: Early access to tetr Profiles

tetr 1.9.1 is here! This minor release brings early access to tetr Profiles, letting you create a profile as we prepare for cross-device syncing and more.

  • Profiles: tetr Profiles is our first step towards sync, create yours now and claim a cool username! Go to Settings tab to find it.

tetr 1.9.0: Message yourself images!

Better support for tasks and Mac for the tetr app!

You asked for it and we listened! Our most request feature on the roadmap, texting yourself images is finally here. Add an image to your notes, journal entries, and even reminders!

That’s right, you can now have a nice image to go along with your tasks for that extra visual stimuli!

  • Added the ability to message yourself images! Click the Image icon in the bottom left of any Space to choose an image from your device.

This is still a rather limited feature, but we are continuously working on expanding its functionality. Soon you will be able to view the full images as well as choose levels of compression to save space. In the meantime, you can access the saved images in the images folder of the tetr app inside iOS’s Files.

tetr 1.8.2 has been released

  • Mac shortcuts: On Mac, to be consistent with other messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram, when using a hardware keyboard, Enter or Command + Enter (Mac) will now send the message. This will be replaced with just Enter once a standalone Mac app is available, in which case Shift + Enter will add a new line. Learn about all the keyboard shortcuts in the Shortcuts Reference.
  • Task Editing: You can now edit task-based messages directly from the chat. Simply tap and hold on the task message and select Edit from the context menu.
  • Disable Blur: You can now disable the blur effect in the app settings for better accessibility. To do so simply go to Settings -> Appearance -> Disable Blur.
  • Compact View: The UI has been improved to use space more efficiently, especially on smaller screens. We also added an even more compact option: Settings -> Appearance -> Compact View.
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements.

tetr 1.8.1

  • Minor bug fixes and improvements.

tetr 1.7.1

  • Fixed a critical bug with notifications for some users.

tetr 1.8.0 has been released

This is a pretty big update with a bunch of user experience improvements and a couple new features! It is being rolled out in stages, if you’d like to get it right away, just update tetr from the App Store!

Better support for tasks and Mac for the tetr app!

Better iPad support and Mac availability

  • tetr now works better on iPad, with a more responsive design and better support for multitasking.
  • The universal app is now available on Mac, so you can use tetr on your Mac as well! Get it on App Store!

Note that the Mac version is largely the same as the iPad version and lacks many quality of life features. We will be working on both improving this experience by introducing features such as keyboard shortcuts as well as creating a proper Mac app in the future.

Less cluttered Spaces

  • Messages with reminders will no longer get replies about being scheduled, instead they’ll have a clock next to their timestamp.
  • Don’t worry, as long as you see the clock, the reminder is scheduled!

New context menu for the iPhone

Quick skip and reschedule in chats & summaries

  • You can click on the timestamp with the clock for easy rescheduling
  • You will also now see updated Snooze and Skip buttons in tasks when they’re overdue.
  • In Summary view, swipe on any task to Snooze, Delete, or Skip it!

Known Issues

There are a some known issues in this update which will be fixed in the upcoming release.

  • The context menu may show up under the keyboard when the keyboard is active.
  • When opening a chat notification while using a different chat, there may be some flickering.
